I have loved spooky things all my life, starting with Goosebumps books and Scooby-Doo. I am a Scrappy-Doo apologist, and I'm not afraid to say it. When I look back, all of my favorite movies and characters--Pinnochio, The Dark Crystal, the Wicked Witch of the West--were the ones that scared me the most.

I believe that we have an obligation to hope, and that family can be found. There must be light in darkness. If we can't find it, we have to make it. And if we can't make it, we have to try.
